Toll Road Bypass
While working on a waterline adjacent to a local toll road, BakerCorp provided pumps to bypass a large storm water system under repair. Traffic could not be stopped on this jobsite, so AWC personnel set up the entire bypass on the shoulder without interrupting oncoming traffic. BakerCorp provided two 14" pumps with auto-start capabilities, 1000' of 18" HDPE pipe and two 300 gallon auxiliary fuel tanks. Due to space constraints, the fuel tanks were staged 40' above the pumps on a frontage road to allow for refueling and prevent theft.

Lime Transfer
An industrial contractor once again relies on BakerCorp to supply a Gorman-Rupp pump to transfer lime from one tank to another. Gorman-Rupp's Model 14C20-B electric driven unit is rugged enough to handle both the endless supply of product and the flooded suction application.

Local Bypass
BakerCorp was readily available to supply a bypass system at this highly traveled intersection in the northeast area of Houston. This setup included a 12" priming assisted pump, two road crossings and 900' of pipe. The specifications also required a back up pump to be in a ready position should rainfall intensify. In anticipation of increased levels of water, BakerCorp supplied a 10" pump with an assortment of adapters and a 300 gallon auxiliary fuel tank with spill guard to allow for continuous flow of product through a common discharge line. Both units were equipped with auto start systems.
