History/Overview

Andress-Walsh, one of the largest Gorman-Rupp pump distributors in the United States, was founded in 1984 by Kerry and Linda Walsh as a rental supplier for water pumps in the construction and petrochemical industries. In 1987, Andress-Walsh became the Gorman-Rupp distributor for South Texas, and since then has received national recognition as the top Gorman-Rupp CED distributor eleven times.

Over the years, Andress-Walsh has expanded its service capabilities, establishing stores in Texas City, Beaumont, Freeport, TX and Geismar, LA. These expansions have served to strengthen the company's standing as the most complete source of rental pumps along the Texas and Louisiana gulf coasts.

BakerCorp acquired Andress-Walsh in 2000, allowing the company to enlarge its rental fleet and expand its service territory while maintaining independent management. BakerCorp, a national leader in liquid and solids containment rentals, also manages offices in more than 90 locations worldwide, including several in the Gulf Coast region located in: Houston, Freeport, Dallas, Kilgore, Lake Charles, and Baton Rouge.
